"Stardust" Silver Girl has been adopted by Debbie and her family!

Debbie started the process by emailing us with her family's details for pre-approval, and then emailed back to let us know that her family was smitten with Stardust!

Hey Miss Christina,
My family is interested in adding a female beagle puppy to our family.  We saved a beagle back in 1990 and lost her when she was 14 years old.  My daughter was 4 when we lost her so she did not know the joy of our beloved beagle as a puppy.  
It took us a couple of years then we adopted another dog, a german shepherd, in 2006 and lost her in February of this year after a long battle with cancer.  So now we are ready to get another family member and we decided it should be another beagle puppy. (FYI...eventually we will add another puppy for companionship.) 
As all of our other dogs, she will sleep in our bedroom unless my daughter talks me into her room.  Don't tell her but that will probably be the case.  (My daughter is 11 years old and having a fit for another puppy.)
We have a big fenced in backyard for running and believe she will get a lot of that if my daughter has anything to with it.  My daughter loved to play outside with our german shepherd all the time.  She loved to run and play fetch with her.  My daughter loves any kind of animal..dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, hamsters...well you get the picture!  Me...just dogs!
We live in the Sandhills of NC so we are not that far from you and would come pick her up.  My husband is attorney for a bank and I am a CPA at a small firm.  We would love to adopt one of your puppies.   I am interested in a tri-color, small standard, female beagle puppy.  I am possibly interested in a khaki, small standard, female puppy if they really don't shed that much and if as cute as tri-color. 
Anyway, just wanted to get preapproved and see what puppy or puppies you may have that matches our needs.  Please let me know what the next step is.

Debbie patiently waited and meanwhile continued viewing the website as we ask folks to demonstrate they have patience, a much needed trait for succesfully raising a new family member! She then emailed us again to let us know they were very interested in a specific puppy- Stardust! Miss C waited and let Christi email them back when she could get a chance knowing that Starlet was Christi & Jake's girl they raised and Christi would enjoy working with someone who was getting one of Starlet's offspring.

Hey Miss Christina & Christi,
Just wanted to let you know that I very interested in adopting "Stardust" if she is still available!!!  I would love to be her Mom!  I have been looking at your website the past couple of days and lets just say this...you have the cutest, most gorgeous puppies!!!  My first beagle was adorable for sure...even my vet said she thought our beagle had the cutest puppy pictures she had ever seen!  So when I say yours are great...they are!!
Also, your website is a wealth of knowledge on the care of the puppies.  Even though I have raised a beagle and german shepherd I found out new things from your website.  Very informative for me.  Between you and me...I love taking breaks out of my day to just look at all the beagles! 

 Since we lost our german shepherd back in February, the house is sooo quiet!  Even with an 11 year old because when we had our other "daughter" too...they were always running around playing.  We really miss that!! What I missed with our german shepherd versus our beagle is the snuggling.  Our beagle used to snuggle with me on the couch and that is greatly missed!
So just wanted to make sure that you know I am very, very interested in Stardust!  She looks like she is sweet and for sure adorable!!  So here is the order I am interested in:
  1.  "Stardust"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2.  Tri-color small standard female puppy (or just standard)
  3.  Chocolate, khaki or silver small standard female puppy (or just standard)
Also, the shorter the timeframe the better!!!  So any suggestions are welcomed!!!  Please let me know if my family is preapproved for the waitlist and I will send the deposit asap.

Once Christi emailed her back with the great news that her family had been pre-approved by ours and that they could adopt their favorite, Debbie happily let us know they were ready and we set up an appointment for that next weekend to come meet with us and welcome home their new baby girl!

 it was instant love!

Miss C shows the Blevins a newborn, and then Stardust reaches out and gives um a kiss!
so sweet :)
