 Introducing  Babette

she is a very petite tri mom -- the daughter of now retired "Baby", a female we purchased to enhance our line of Mini Beagles, aka Pocket beagles as some folks call them.. their colors were bright and pups turn out so cute !! Occassionaly we find another,  "reputable beagle breeder" who's life work developing a line of beagles impresses us, and we buy unrelated dogs to add in new bloodlines to ours to avoid inbreeding and enhance certain qualities we like for our Line to incorporate !

Babette as a puppy in our home was always playful and happy !!

they wrote to let us know he was happy in his new home and they had changed his name to Gunner !

Ms. Christina,
Thank you so much!  My wife is thoroughly enjoying the new puppy along with getting used to having her first puppy.  Gunner is adjusting to his new home very well and is becoming king of the castle very quickly.  Thank you again for such a beautiful puppy!  Attached is a picture of us all.

He falls asleep every night at 8:30 in her lap on the couch. It is to the point you can set a watch by him. Again I thank you cause he has been a great dog and she is loving him.

Hi Miss C. & Christina,

All is well here with our new puppy! Sorry we haven't sent any updates or pictures yet. Fall time in Alaska is always so busy.
 
We decided to name the little guy Apollo. We had been coming up with names for a few weeks before he got here and had it narrowed down, but when we saw him we both agreed that Apollo fit him best. Now we joke that we should have named him something related to food! :) He loves food! We are trying to teach him food manners, and hoping they will settle in soon! 
 
We are both so happy with Apollo and love to be at home playing with him or snuggling with him. We get out on little walks every day around the neighborhood and he seems to like that. Thank you choosing us to be the lucky owners of Apollo! We really appreciate it and all of the help you provided to help get him here to us!
 
I've attached some pictures of Apollo's time here with us. I hope you enjoy them!

2. Apollo's first "snow" here in Alaska! They were really tiny snowflakes though and melted before they hit the ground, but he'll be getting real snow pretty soon! :)

4. Apollo's first moose sighting on the way home! He barked a little . . . once the moose was ahead of us :) October 3, 2010. 
5. Apollo's first airplane ride with Lee and I. We took a short flight to drop my little brother off after he had a sleep over with us. It was a 30 minute flight vs. an almost 2 hour drive! Apollo did great in the airplane! He started out in his little kennel, but I let him out to sit on my lap and enjoy the ride! 
6 & 7. Views from our quick flight over Cook Inlet. It was a beautiful nigh!
