update from the Morris family on Lady's Ruby!

Grace says "I approve! they can have one of our puppies!"

" Christina,
Hello!  I just wanted to give you a quick update on little Ruby.  She is adorable and we love her so much.  She is such a good little puppy.  She is quiet, obedient, and a quick learner.  She was leash trained, potty trained, and crate trained nearly immediately.  We could not be more satisfied with her.  I take her on walks in the evenings and every person driving by slows down and stares at her.  Kids run up to us and ask to pet her and adults smile at her and comment about how small and cute she is.  Ruby is the light of our lives and we love to spoil her.  She curls up with me every night on my pillow and rests her head on my neck or shoulder.  Our kitty thinks she's great, too - they chase eachother and play all them time.  Ruby is content to let Pumpkin think she's still "Queen" of the house.  I'm attaching a couple recent pictures of her so you can see how much she's grown.  Thank you so much for allowing us to take her home.  She truly is the most precious little puppy and she's a perfect fit for our family.  The last photo is of my mom, Kayla, and the "grandpuppy."  ~Bethany "

Peg Pike and her family are very happy campers!

Hi Miss C. and Christi,
Star is such a peach!  She is doing wonderfully.  She and I both had a big day on Saturday but she seems to have gotten her bearings (based on the good job she is doing eating, drinking water, peeing, and pooping!).  I really enjoyed my (short) trip to your beautiful state.  Although I was tired, I felt more comfortable seeing where Star was born and meeting her loving caretakers.  I just did not feel comfortable having you put her tiny self on a flight, although I understand that the services are very careful and I am probably being a little silly.
One of my biggest concerns was how my 8-year-olds would handle her.  They have been terrific....they really get the CALM, ASSERTIVE manner.  It is now our family motto.  The kids gently take Star into their laps and she just cuddles up and snoozes while they read or just sit.  She has a calming effect on the whole family.  The kids are also working diligently on training her.  Yesterday, they were all able to have her 'sit' on command using a kibble.  I know that you prepared her well for that but they feel confident and successful when they are able to get her to sit for them.
I was also preparing myself for a few days of 'baby crying' as Star became accustomed to life without her littermates.  Although she did some minor crying the first night (before falling asleep and upon waking), she was quiet and content yesterday.  We have a set-up similar to yours however, the 'play area' that Star occupies allows her to see out of all sides.  We have it in the kitchen/kid's playroom area where there are people around most of the time.  As long as she can see us, she is perfectly happy.  It is also big enough for the children (and me!) to get in it with her.  She has plenty of roaming room without having the run of the house and the dangers of things like stairs.  She went to sleep at 9:30 pm and we did not hear a peep from her all night.  When I went to her play area this morning, she was awake and playing with her toys...quietly!  When she saw me, she squeaked with excitement but did not cry upon waking alone!  She is just amazing!  She is aptly named:  she is a Star....everyone adores her!  We literally have a list of people just waiting to come and see her.
If you have someone who is interested in one of your babies and would like to speak to another happy customer, I will definitely provide a reference.  Everyone is madly taking pictures of Star and the family and I will send you a few for the 'Happy Families' pages when I get a moment.

Zorro and his brother playin around !

Cody and his beloved fluffy puppy Zorro hanging out in the kitchen

( sometimes the kids favorites like Zorro are the last to leave in their litters.... wonder how that happens LOL.... )

we do enjoy um all ,but as Miss C. jokes and tells folks... ya only need so many males , girls on the other hand ... I can be persuaded more often to just keep for breeding and enjoy having a cuddle bug around to raise up !  everyone tells us they are hooked on our site and cant get enough we know the feelin we are adicted to puppy breath ourselves !!
