Good Morning Sunshine Acres Family!

Hi, My name is Michelle Wehr. I live in central Pennsylvania and I am very interested in adding one of your beautiful babies to my family.

Let me tell you about me and my family, I currently work as an administrative assistant for a local grocery chain in my area. My husband, Mike, works for my brother in law at a strip mine. I have one daughter, Cecilia, who recently got married, a step-daughter, Britni who is a senior in high school and a step son, Brent, he's a sophomore, he'll be moving in with us in the near future. They are all animal lovers. We also have two cats, both are female, fixed and declawed. Up until a very short time ago I had a beautiful female tri-color beagle, Elvira.
Elvira had to be put down due to a liver tumor. She was an amazing little baby dog. She was only 9 years old and I feel cheated that I didn't have her longer.
I've attached a picture of me and her for you to see how beautiful she was.  She was a real challenge when we first got her, she came to us from my brother, who had beagles for field trials, so her blood line was that of a field trial dog. Elvira was a year old when she came into my family and  knew nothing of being a house pet, she would have accidents on my furniture and raise all kinds of heck, but she was an absolute sweetie and we loved her. After a lot of hard work and patience we did get our loving house pet.
Everything we did was for her, we built half doors to keep her out of trouble, and keep her contained in the living room and kitchen of our home. We put the litter box,  in a bathtub we no longer used so she couldn't have extra snacks. Our back yard is completely fenced in and we added an extra gate so she couldn't get out to the very front gate near the street, she would have been out of my sight then and I never took chances on someone not properly shutting the gate.

My husband and I miss her very much, there's an emptiness in our home now. We always used to joke that if we actually had intentions of purchasing a dog, a beagle would not have been our first choice. But after sharing my home and my life with Elvira, I can't imagine having any other type of dog.
I'm hoping when the time comes to pick up my new baby I'll have my brother in law fly us down, if he can't then we'll take a nice long weekend and drive to pick her up.
I really do want another tri color girl. Elvira was on the smaller size, somewhere around "13 I'd like another baby about the same size.
If I meet your requirements to welcome one of your babies into my family please let me know, I'll get my deposit out to you right away and we can start making arrangements on her pick up date.
want you to know, my baby dog was my life. Everything I did revolved around her.
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider me and my family for one of your babies.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.

   sweet little baby girlie !

My first choice would be Ruby's girl, she is perfect, exactly what I'm looking for!First let me tell you how thankful and happy I am I found your website. My husband and I are truly grateful that we found you. We both miss our girl so much, your site is a blessing to me. It helps me not to feel so sad from my loss.
If someone picks Ruby's girl I can wait for one of Puppy's girls, or Trinas. But I will tell you I am smitten with that little girl. We already have a name picked out for our new baby too. :)
Bella is what we decided on.
You just let me know when it's my turn. And again, thank you SO much! You really have no idea how much this helps me!

I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a great day!

We love knowing who a family is smitten with so we can try our best to see that match happen for them !!!

meet "Bella" Michelles new baby girlie :)

Khaki Mini Boy is claimed by waiting list family the Boyes !

his new mom is flying in to pick him up at Charlotte Douglas International Airport .

he will be a California boy.. our vet Dr. Faulkner always asks us where is this one going when we come in for a Health cert to fly out of state... and jokingly teases us saying California or New York ?? he has noticed we ship the rare colored pups more to folks who want something unique and special and most often the khaki go to Californians

Thank you to Angie for the treats and care package!!

angie smith gift treats

this generous lady also thought of the kids and Miss
Christina's devotion to our work and how we tend to put the babies before our own needs and sent a people care package of yummie lotions and sprays and Miss C. 's new favorite scent "Apple Wreath"
 antibacterial hand soap..
Cody says we should hold the worlds record for number of times one person washes their hands a day , now we have such a good smelling soap we look forward to it  LOL :) !!

Winston hangs out on a heated kitty bed with his own Toy fox who gets to come home with him when he goes to his new family !

"The boys are doing so much better than I expected. As you predicted Winston is definitely the top dog, Hamilton is just so laid back and reserved he doesnt bother challegning him for that spot!

We are keeping them separated expect for short amounts of time 2-3 times a day.  Winston slept well last night, he woke up 3 times and I changed the paper in the tub and sat with him until he settled back down and went to sleep. The tub setup works amazingly well!!!"
