"We live on 7 acres, and have 80 acres of prime woods controlled by
the MN DNR in our backyard, so plenty of room to run and roam. We
also have completed our near 1 acre grassed yard, so outside room is
not a problem. Feb 02 2010

Barnum as Newborn Orange beagle puppy He & his brother Bailey have gone home with Donna & Steve and their family from West Greenwich RI !
Hi Miss Christina and family! Where do I begin.......I have spent so much time on your website..I feel like I already know all of you.(lol) If I had to summarize your site in three words it would be ENJOYABLE, INFORMATIVE, & DEFINATELY ADDICTIVE!..I mean, I would hop on your site planning on just a peek at all of the cuties and before I know it I look up and it's time to get my kids off the bus.......my friends & family just look at me and shake their heads and say "you got it bad!", I just smile and say, if they visited the site they would too!(LOL). My name is Donna, my husbands' name is Steve and we have 4 kids...Marisa, who is 13, Adriana,12, Steven 8, & Nichole 7. We live in West Greenwich RI in a cul-de-sac on 5 acres of wooded land that borders about 30 acres of land owned by the Audabon Society. I have been visiting your website for the last few months and would like to be considered for pre approval as a loving home for 2 of your babies....though we are not ready just yet (we tragically lost our beloved 7 mo old Jackabee puppy Teddy to GME & still need a little more time to heal) Upon reading your website I noticed that you stated that you like to develop a relationship beforehand with perspective families to get to know each other, which I agree is a smart decision. We were considering adding to our family before we got the devastating news about Teddy so we decided to hold off on that decision and devote our full attention on the time we had left with him. With that being said I figured I would email you with a little bit of info about us and see where it goes from there. I have bounced around the internet and always found myself BACK at your website and everytime I thought I knew EVERYTHING there was to know about beagles...I Iearned something new...One thing I really got from your site is that you really care about the breed...in perfecting it and building it up to be a breed that people can be proud to own, a lot of times you meet people who's opinion of a beagle is that of a nuisance..(very frustrating to beagle lovers like myself). As I read through your site all I could think about was if people could get a beagle from the RIGHT breeder for the RIGHT reasons, they would really appreciate the wonderful qualities a beagle posesses! But you already know all of this. I know you must be very busy so I won't take up too much of your time on stuff you already know....My son Steven (the only boy we have) would really like a couple of brothers to even things out...so please write back so we can get better aquainted and if things work out we can discuss a possible timeline and preference.

He & his sister Peppers have both gone home with the Meo family!~
My name is Marie Meo and I have been an admirer of your website and beagles since finding Sunshine Beagles a few years ago. My family would like to compliment you on your beautiful beagles and informative website. What a joy it must be to raise and care for such amazing animals! Our family had the pleasure of raising our beagle, Ernie, for the better part of thirteen years, but unfortunately he passed away last December. My family has such wonderful memories and stories that we share about him and with him. Ernie brought us so much love for all those years- he saw each of my three children off to their graduations, proms and college. He met all the different friends the children had and was loved by them all. As hard as it was to lose him, we are ready to love and care for another beagle. After much thought and consideration, we have decided to adopt two this time! Our family has expanded since the time we had Ernie and we would like to be able to love more then one precious beagle. We are all very excited for the weddings and grandchildren that they will be a part of! We have decided to name them after our favorite Italian dinner “Sausage” and “Peppers”. We are avid Red Sox fans and plan to watch the games with them and make sure they get plenty of exercise in our yard which consists of four acres of grass and trees. My daughter's boyfriend is a habitual marathon runner and plans to make sure Sausage and Peppers get lots of exercise!

He is claimed by the Smiths from our waiting list! They had passed on a previous litter due to timeframe, and now that they have moved into their new house where they have a nice yard ,they will have their very own lil boy to raise as their first child! We are perfectly fine when folks pass and wait until everything is just the way they want it! The nice thing about going ahead and joining the line, is that when you are ready, and just the right one that you are smitten with is born, its your turn in front of anyone else in the country who might be viewing our website and want that same puppy. You've got first dibs! And the Smith's loved this picture of him with the Webkin Beagle Puppy .
as well as most all the black disapears , their eyes get more eyeliner and noses get blacker. The orange gets so pretty the older they get the more shiney it is.
The Smiths came out to visit their baby boy !
starting a family together is wonderful !
they now finish preparing the home for his arrival once he is fully weaned, and sleeping away from his Mother. HIs new mom said he has had Bowls on the floor since we picked him on the website ! they brought out a bag full of things for he and his littermates to enjoy playing with as he grows up here , then has to bring home with him to make his new home somewhat more familiar with his own toys already there for him to keep enjoying while learning his new families daily routine .

She is claimed by the Lawsons from our waiting list! They had passed on a previous litter and waiting for a darling with a solid back, and found just the one they are smitten with!
Hi Miss C and Christi! I hope you are all doing well - it must be so exciting and hectic with all of the new puppies!! I just wanted to touch base if you had a free moment. I know my husband and I were up for the last orange girl and decided to wait for the next litter. I am hoping we are still up for one of Darla's girls - I have fallen in love with them since I found out she had the orange puppies. I absolutely love the picture of the puppy on the bottom left picture of Darla's section with a blaze and was not sure if this was a girl. We would absolutely love to adopt one of them if we are up on the waiting list still! We can't wait to have a little orange girl running around. I know you are busy but we would love to hear from you when you get a chance. Thanks again for all of your help! Josh & Jill Lawson

Hi Christina Thought I would share some Pictures of our little girl Lucy. She is doing great!! Neil and Anjali Silva we thought it was so nice of their collegues to throw them a puppy shower at work to give them gifts for their expected first baby !!
Christina, I wanted to give you a little update on Avery. She is doing so well. She of course cried the first few nights but now sleeps so well at night. We have taken the tub idea and "tweaked" it a little. We knew that we were going to go camping soon after adopting Avery so we purchased a 4ft Rubbermaid tub and we place her bed on one end and wee pads on the other. This makes a perfect portable "tub" for her to use until she is ready for a typical crate all night. She did so well camping! We have a 27ft pop-up camper and she quickly made that home! She loved exploring the great outdoors around our campsite as well. The boys as well as all of our neighbors have fallen madly in love with her and we have gotten many offers to come puppy sit! We are truly enjoying our new addition to our family! Kim Lando
