Get
Two!!
Many
people say its actually easier to raise two since both are going out onto the
grass to go 'hurry up " and following each other at playtime, then
passing out on each other for warmth, it just makes sense. Get siblings to
raise together, or take home your puppy now and come back for a sibling
next year by the same mommy!
 Very often our customers enjoyed the experience with their
1st Sunshine Acres Beagle so much that they come back for another to love
on and keep
their first one company. Our families tell us about how their "1st born"
takes the new baby under their wing, and not only snuggles up with their
new little bro or sis, but also helps to show them the ropes of their new
home!
Lots of our customers have seen the wisdom in purchasing two companion
pets at once.. beagles are a pack animal and are happy when able to play
with and snuggle with a littermate or other similar aged puppy.
 This Computer expert got one and came back to us for a second
to keep it company when he is busy with work . Beagles love companionship
and have plenty to go around, don't think your beagle will find all it needs
from its playmate they are still "Man's Best Friend", and that bond is
still there between the pet and owner whether you decide to get one... or more!
One couple said they ran out of room on their big bed so now after 3 from us
they got her Dad his own since he lives near by they get to see "Miss Kitty" his
petite Mini often and get their Fix of Puppy Breath that becomes so addicting...

Lucky and Chance got to go to
a lady who used to rescue beagles ,
she hears about our house pet variety beagles and decides to get
herself two ! She does work and this way they will have each other for
companionship when she is busy... it worked out great... we found out...
most rescued beagles are hunting pups someone has tried to make a
pet out of... she tells us it usually doesn't work out and they end up
getting out of the owners yard and getting lost trying to track animals,
they end up getting picked up as rescued dogs. often the cycle repeats
itself when they find a new home, and just do it again!! she said I can
have free beagles all day but ones that want to stay home are really what
I want..

This couple
got one of our brown tan and white females a few years ago and came
back this fall to purchase a playmate, Khaki tan and white male for
her.

as a tiny pup, finally its the day he's ready to come home. The boys
attract onlookers every where their dad takes them.
Due to the rare coloring ..people even stop
him when he walks the boys and ask if the two Chocolate beagles came from
Sunshine Acres !! |

"Dog Bar" he goes to meet and greet singles !
lots of single folks have been telling us having a dog is a great way to
meet other dog lovers, there are walk parks, and dog bars where you have
to have one to get in !! |
he is also given the credit for naming our smallest beagles "Nano"
beagles- Michael is a computer expert and says that designation is for
micro size !

 Abbey
says buhbye to her silver daughter Raven who went home with
return customers from Mich. who already had Blade, one of our tri
colored males. They drove back down to get a second pup from
us... !
Often our customers come back to us for a buddy for their first.
Blade is Darth Vader below.. he is also the National Champion in
Agility Trials we are very proud of him ! they loved how
obedient and Agile he was . Abbey has puppies available soon to
choose from for anyone interested see her section on this page ! She
is one of our off leash moms we allow to live here on our acreage
often without any fencing or restraints yet she never heads off to
the woods around us to hunt she is content here just
looking to hang out in the driveway or huge acreage back yard ,
or with the dogs on the Invisible fencing out front... no need to
leave the property she isn't going anywhere.. we love to show our
beagles are not like the ones you may have heard about from your
friends... not to get... we agree its too much work to keep up with
them and keep um happy at home.. unlike our housepet variety beagle. |

we think dogs can sense when they are
related ... and getting one from the same line is a good idea when
possible. these are downline from our wonderful retired sire Mr.
Puppy the stud muffin.
His pups are like your kids not a dog...
its hard to explain but they are very bright and personable pets.
Electra also has pups downline from his
influence in our line they have very nice jet black shorter coats for tri
colored beagles we think they will look very slick and pretty as adults
like he was. |

THIRD PUPPY FROM US, MINI KHAKI EMMA JANE for Christmas
!! We know there are closer
breeders in other states ... but our repeat customers tell us they love
the house pet variety beagles we have developed. And the way our family
raises them in our home to be Indoor companions without the hunting
instincts bred into them. It's obvious we are doing a good job when folks
come back for more !!! |
Many breeders and dog enthusiasts agree
getting littermates is far less expensive than all the toys and gadgets you can
buy to entertain your new family member, besides you aren't always there, but a
sibling is.. to play with to cuddle and keep company.

Monroe resident Carrie came
to see our pups last week for a gift for her daughter who told Pa Pa , " I
need a Puppy" !
When she went home, her sister
who already has a beagle and lives in Indian Land, said she had heard of
Sunshine Acres Beagles and would love to come with her and see the puppies too !
Both families loved Sally's
adorable pups and each picked one.

The two families went to eat
dinner at Papa's house soon after picking out pups and discovered what Miss
Christina says about getting two is right !! Their sibling puppies were
quiet and played so cute together, then fell asleep on one another while the
families watched on..
we have seen this several times ,
one person finds us and tells their friends and family and they too decide they
always wanted a beagle puppy like ours, and take one at the same time so they
are playmates when the families get together ! That's fine with us we
don't mind allowing someone to jump in the game, we think its a great idea
!
as a surprise Dad came back and took Joey
for his wife, who now wanted two herself .. the chocolate female and Joey !!

neighbors. This is great they get to have a someone to play with when their
folks visit each other !

She laughed at seeing them side by side and said
" look Mini Me" !!

Nan has two different family friends in her Myers
Park neighborhood with our beagles, so she decided to come pick out two little
boy pups for her two sons...
"Ace" and" Rocky" come to board with us when the
family travels .. We love getting to see our babies as they grow up.

like to share a crate to take a nap in, after a big day of playing outside with
our doggies.

Get Two
These two rare colored puppies went to
Asheville for Christmas gifts ! Later the families friends Sierra,
and her mom got in line for a Khaki puppy after being referred to
us, and falling in love with these guys.
word of mouth is our best
source of new families for our precious puppies !

quote from a beagle book one of our customers shared with us when they
decided on two pups. most vets only charge for one office visit when you go
in with two pups, so the only additional charge is the shots and those are
generally only about ten dollars of the overall cost of the visit.
Having two tends to mean you need to spend less time ...since they
keep each other company and even cry less the first few nights
having one another to snuggle up to when its time for a nap.

Beagles are a pack animal,
getting two is a great idea. watching pairs like Grace and Little man
or Happy & Molly, play
together has confirmed to us the fact that two dogs are actually
easier than one in many cases....
they keep each other entertained so well, it takes less time
on my part.

We have many families interested in our babies, we are Not a store that
is trying to "give deals to sell more product".
We put endless hourse of love and care into hand raising our unique
family oriented beagle puppies, and the initial cost of adding one to
your home to enjoy for the many years to come is non-negotiable.
   
Getting two is completely up to you,
    
You are welcome to start with one, and once he
or she is all trained, have them help raise a new little one when the
time comes. OR
  
You can adopt two puppies to add to your family
to raise together, as they not only enjoy your companionship, but also
entertain eachother when you are not around...
    
they can play together, go outside
together for hurryup breaks, sleep together, go to the vet together as
one office visit, and grow up together as a part of your happy
