We have had many families get TWO beagles!

They bring home 2 puppies at the same time,  so they have a buddy to keep them company, play with, snuggle and stay warm with !

or they come back once their sunshine beagle has gotten a little older, and get another one to add to the family. The older beagle takes the new puppy under their wing, and show's em the ropes!

Beagles are a Pack animal so this really works well !

Most vets will just charge for one office visit when you take in two for their shots, and that usually runs about $30. Then they just add the cost of the shots which run about $9-15 each. There are generally 3-4 shots done, the first of which we do for you, then after that a rabies shot is done at 4 months and a booster visit at a year old.

The main benefit of having two pups is they keep each other entertained and require less of your time since they have each other to play with.

  Blade and Raven

Abbey says goodbye to her silver daughter who went home with customer's from Mich. who already had Blade one of our tri colored males.

they enjoy doing Agility trials with him and wanted to get a second pup from us to be his playmate

They drove back down to get a second pup from us... !

(the two are best pals now back at home )

   Princess Leia and Darth Vader

they sent us this adorable shot of the two of them dressed for Halloween !! Is that cute or what ???

11/5/06

The expected November (04) litters produced some adorable traditional and rare colored cuties.

over the weeks following their birth, families came out one by one to choose which puppies they wanted in order by the deposits we had received.

 Wrigley

this young Newly Wed couple
came out prior to the pups arrival and put down a deposit for a tri male standard size. They met the Mom and some current pups and waited for the timing they needed over the Holidays to get a puppy once he was out of school.

When the puppies were born they had first pick of that litter and decided on the same one Miss Christina thought they would choose !

Each time they came to visit him as he grew they brought a payment on him, we thought this was a great idea !

this cute boy was just what they had described, a white blaze between his eyes and how adorable is that spot ?

We have already been contacted about puppies from friends who have met their little fellow.

Eric says he is house broken and  crate trained already and doin great.

they sent us these adorable pics!

 Wrigley asleep on Mommy

and to show us how bright he is ....
him watching educational   TV !!!

Wrigley gets a sister, "Lola"!

They came and got first pick of the litter
when "Lola" was only a newbie

Like they did with Wrigley

They said that it was such a neat experience to bond with Wrigley from birth, so they wanted to do that again with his little sister!

Later they come out to visit her

(  Wrigley got to come meet baby Lola too!)

finally the big day came when she was ready to come home with them !!

They loved how cuddly she was,

and mentioned that this is just what wriggly liked to do, get right on your neck and snuggle!

 "Walt" & "Disney"

khaki male "Disney" went to join "Walt"!

Walt

This young couple both work as producers for ESPN College sports.

They picked a chocolate boy , then when they came back to pick him up and bring him home they fell in love with the khaki boy by Precious and gave us a deposit on him as well...

He was so happy to be going home with his new family he kissed um both !!

  Sandy & friends!

khaki mini male

This couple wrote asking about sandy, she told us she had a copper nosed beagle years ago who was the best dog .. and she was hoping to get one of our rare colored ones to be inside with her.. they have an outdoor large dog, but she said this one's for mom!

they came and fell in love with this adorable khaki kid , he was her b-day gift from her husband, for her dad who had lost his yorkie.

LittleBit

Sandy's mommy came back to get Little Bit.

The day after we published this new litter of cuties, she contacted us ready to come out and get this precious little girl.

Now between her and her dad they have 3 of our puppies, a khaki mini boy, a chocolate mini boy, and this mini tri color girl!!

  Buster  gets a sister!

Rachel emailed us from Charlotte looking for a smaller male beagle to be a birthday present to her hubbie, and an anniversary present for eachother. She was planning on getting a spring puppy, and had already decided his name would be Buster, he'd have a red collar, a red leash, and said she was headed to petsmart already to make his ID tag!

"I am going to Petsmart this week to make the pup one of those I.D. tags, we are planning to name him “Buster.” And then I will get a little red collar and red leash to go with it and wrap it in a box for Josh to give to him for his birthday."

But while looking at the website's updates, Tracey's little boys caught her eye, and she said that this was exactly what they had wanted. They came out over the weekend to get their Buster!

Below is their update:

"Hey Christina. Christi, and Cody!

I hope you are all well and I still check your website almost daily to follow all the pups and see if they have found homes. We hope to order from your Petsmart link soon to help support the site.

I wanted to tell you that Buster, Tracey’s smaller boy, is doing wonderful! He has brought so much fun into our home and he is a spoiled little baby. The newest thing that he has started doing is “singing” with us. Josh and I love to hear him howl and we love how he tilts his head up when he howls. So just the other day, Josh and I thought that if we started singing, he might start “singing” with us and sure enough, he tilted his little head back and howled his little heart out!! He makes us laugh so much! We have also received so many compliments on him and his markings and his coat. We have also had several interested people asked about where we got him and I have given your website out several times now.

Josh even had a friend of his call him and asked him if he recently bought a puppy. They saw Josh as they were checking your website. Supposedly they have an older dog that may die soon and have been watching your site to get a pup when their dog passes away.

Well, I have attached some pictures of Buster for you that I think you will enjoy. Thank you so much for such a well bred dog. He is a joy and has brought so much joy to our friends and family as well. He has such an “I love everybody” attitude.

Thanks for everything!
 Rachel and Josh"

Rachel sent a new picture of Buster at 5 months. She also said that they were interested in getting Buster a sister around the time that he will be boarding with us this summer!!

Here they are getting their little Buster, and Grace decided she wanted in on some of the attention!

Buster haning out on Cody's bed while he boards

They came out to pick Buster up after they got back from their trip to the beach, and picked out this little sister for Buster to play with!

While Buster was Boarding, he got to meet lots of little ones, so getting to take one home with him worked out well! He had enjoyed playing with our dogs and puppies during his visit so much, that we were just sure he'd love having a new pal around the house.

Here's a new update

Hi Christina!!

I hope you and the kids are doing well! I just wanted to give you an update on Buster and Lily and let you know that they are both doing great. Buster just had his 1st Birthday on December 2nd. We had a little party for him and he wore a birthday hat. Lily is still such a puppy; she is about eight months old now. They have both really started to love their crates now. The both run into their own crates when they know it is “time to go up.” We did have a scare this past summer though when Lily got bit by a Copperhead snake. She was very young and small at the time and it bit her right below her nose. But she is a tough little thing and she pushed through and has had no affects from it and is doing great! We will probably be contacting you sometime this coming summer to board the “babies” again when we go the beach. I hope you enjoy the attached pictures. Oh, and on the last picture attached, I told Buster to “Smile” but I didn’t really expect him too!! Check it out!

With Love,

Josh and Rachel Johnston

These two cuties came to board with us, and they're on our Boarding page!

 India and Asia!

India (formerly known as Birdie) sold she went to Spring Tx.

A lady out in Texas contacted us wanting one of our rare color babies back in October of 2006. At the moment, we didn't have any available. They were ready for a puppy though, and got  this cutie and gave us a  deposit for a future khaki female whenever we had one.

   playful tri mini female

India @ the airport!

she caused a stir at the airport they couldnt believe how tiny she was !

she flew out to Texas by  airline , so far it hadnt gotten too cold to ship pups ..

"We are so glad we decided to get India (Indie for short) and wait for a rare.  She is already the queen of the roost."

They sent us this season greeting!

"Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  I have attached a current pic of India at almost 4mo old.  She now weighs about 7lbs"

Along came Asia! They drove up from Texas to the nc mountains, stopping by our house on the way to see Asia, drop off India for boarding, and meet us for the first time!. After a couple of days they came back by on their way down to Texas, and picked both girls up!

   Beamer  and  Royce

Royce is sold now to a family with two young boys who had one of our Orange and white males named " Beamer" already. He is pictured  on the available pups page with our mini "little man" to compare the largest size to the smaller mini size beagles.

..............................................

the story was so cute...  First they got Beamer

(Beamer gets a hug while boarding with us last time his family traveled)

"Christina,

We just wanted to let you know that R.D. has settled into our family just perfectly.  Alex has renamed him Beamer. He is such a sweetie and he has already made several friends in the neighborhood.   He has not had one accident in the house - he has found his spot in the yard and has done great with the housetraining.  He has been sleeping in Alex's room at night and didn't even whimper the first night.  We were prepared for a much more of a transition - he is eating, sleeping, and playing like has been here forever!  Thank you so much for the wonderful little guy - he has made us all very happy, especially Alex.  "

--------

And then.....
for Christmas Mom got a box from Dad... when she unwrapped it , there was a leash inside..

and she said oh... Beamer will like this !!

Dad looked at her and said ....It's not for Beamer ....

just thinking of it makes my eyes tear... she told us each day or so she would look at the site to see the pups...

and just couldn't believe we still had Royce each time...

Mom shows Beamer his new playmate..

she told us its funny but Beamer just loves layin by their fireplace already, so this guy will be great company for him.

such a cutie!

Here's a recent update from Royce's new owners:

Christina,

Just wanted to give you an update on "Royce", new name is "Beauregard" and we call him "Beau".  He has been such a laid back puppy...we had a death in the family and had to make a 4 hour drive in the car less than 24 hours after picking him up from you.  He was the best traveler as he and Beamer slept curled up together the whole trip.  He was taken to yet another strange place in such a short time but he did so well.  Our other family members fell in love with him as well.  He and Beamer have become good buddies and have a great time playing together.  Beau is good on a leash and has enjoyed many walks in his new neighborhood.  We have attached a couple of pictures for you.  Thanks again for such a great pet - we love him!  I'm sure we will be looking you up when we need to board these guys in the future.  Happy New Year and we will be in touch...

The Jamisons

new pictures! soo handsome!

There were quite a few get two families from this litter of Daisy's! Peaches, reesie, nate & tucker all went to families who now have 2 of our sunshine beagles!

Peaches flies to san Diego to be a bud for their older sunshine acres beagle "belle"

"Belle"
was shipped to San Diego

tiny mini female Belle romps in the yard with the other pups..  she is much smaller than
 the other similar aged pups

Freddie and Belle.

Belle flew out to a young lady in San Diego as a surprise for her boyfriend who wanted a beagle pup.

Miss Christina and Christi at the Airport with Belle

Now her boyfriend is getting her another beagle puppy for her birthday, "Peaches"!

Peaches

   She flew out July '06

Here are a few pictures of Belle and Peaches (attached).  They are having so much fun together!

 Reesie

she went to a family who already had an adult male they got from us last yr. and wanted

a companion to give him a playmate.

picking out buzz last yr.

'Buzz'

They wanted a different look so they picked adorable

reesie the chocolate and peanut butter colored puppy!

a big teddy bear :)

as another family told us ... seeing someone come back for another beagle puppy from us just

shows how happy our customer's are with their dogs from us !!

buzz meets reesie!

Here they are already playing together!

this idea really works great if you have two or more kids who will want to share the pups !

THE SEAY FAMILY DRIVES BACK TO NC  FROM ALABAMA TO GET A
THIRD PUPPY  FROM US, MINI  KHAKI  EMMA JANE  for Christmas !!

we know there are closer breeders in other states ... but our repeat customer's tell us they love the house pet variety beagles we have developed. And the way our family raises them in our home to be Indoor companions without the hunting instincts bred into them. It's obvious we are doing a good job when folks come back for more !!!

   ABBEY AND ZOEY of Gastonia

the family enjoyed raising Zoey so much they came back to us the next year and got her a little sis.

OFTEN FAMILIES COME BACK TO US FOR A BUDDY FOR THE FIRST !

There's a bunny right behind her and she doesn't even know it!

They bought Emma from us when we were located in Alexis and said they love looking at the web site and dreaming of adding to the family.  Finally the timing was  right to get a silver beagle as a companion and playmate while they are at work for Emma to replace their Black Lab who was shot by hunters for wanting to come along, Heidi told us. She said he would go along with her husband who hunts, and sleep under a tree with him to wait for deer... apparently he tried to go along with someone else and they didn't want their position known and killed him for trying to come too.

We are just glad Emma didn't have that desire to go along !! so the couple get another Sunshine Acres Beagle puppy from us again.

Abner and Annie

a couple from charlotte emailed looking for a slightly older pup to be a companion to their beagle, we happened to have one and now the two are best pals and keep one another company in their townhouse.

Michael brings Charlie Brown out to  meet

ReRun  as a tiny pup , finally its the  day he's ready to come home. the boys attract onlookers every where their dad takes them.

people even ask if the two Chocolate beagles came from Sunshine acres !

(Isn't this an adorable pic? They had it professionally made & emailed it to us! We love updated photos!)

Molly
(formerly known as Minnie Mouse!)

this couple told us they had looked at mini beagles online for as much as $1700.  + shipping etc. who were mixed with doxies and jack russels, and were really happy they found our purebred beagle mini's.

7/16 mini tri color female.

When I woke up Saturday (10/21) morning, guess who was snuggled up outside my doorway....

Hayley !

After taking these pictures Saturday morning, I posted them & introduced Hayley around lunch time. Soon after the pictures were on the website, Molly's owners called us and told us they saw Haley and wanted to come out to meet her that very day! They  wanted a companion for their mini.

Here They are meeting Hayley (molly came too!)

Molly and Hayley are already playing together, before even leaving our house! Peek-a-boo!

She flew out to meet the pups and dogs and decided to take both pups after meeting them.!!

Laura takes Sterling with her on the plane back to Calif. to join her beagle bebop, and when the mini boy is old enough she has him shipped out to her too

Bebop meets Sterling

Sterling's first night home!

look mommy!, Can I play with this cute puppy over here?

and when her mini boy is old enough we ship him out to join her

Sterling, Bebop and new little bro take a nap together the 1st night he arrives in Calif.

this couple from Columbia SC got one
of our brown tan and white females "Tilloo" a few years ago, and came back this fall to purchase her a playmate -
Khaki puppy Mason (originally fletcher) !

I love the fact that they picked another rare colored puppy to show off in their area... with two unique colored beagles down there we are sure to get new customer's who want one too, once they see these together !!

We think that says a lot when our customer's come back to us when they want another puppy !!

( the chocolate pup was a daughter of Trooper we sold to them 3 years ago, this little boy khaki puppy is the son of Trooper's Sunny Day her sister !!)

Trask was purchased online  by a previous customer in Calif who wanted  another one from us !

He went to San Jose recently.

"Trask 's   story of how he was bought online...

"Hi Christina,

My name is Tina Markovich, the wife of Jack Salmon. We got a beagle from you last year which we named Daisy. Daisy is our little pride and joy. She just turned 1 year old in August. Our little family of three is located in San Jose California.

I think Daisy would be really happy to have somebody to play with."

  Daisy

Tina Markovich wrote asking if Trask was still available..

"Yay! I am so happy. Jack took care of everything for Daisy ( Sweetie) was the name of the puppy when he got her. Please give me the things I need to do to make Trask mine.

You made my day! :)"

they emailed us a pay pal deposit on him..

when i took him to the airline to be shipped the  United employees just fell in love with trask and birdie who both were flying out that day..

 Tina's husband Jack Salmon wrote:

"He made the trip ok and all is well. He slept sound last night, but loves to snuggle and only cried for a short time. Daisy is totally ignoring him at the moment. But it helps that I keep them apart for now. Thank you again for all your help and once he's settled in I will send some pics.

jack"

I wrote Jack a few days later after having told him to introduce the dogs gradually, to see how it was going and ask for a reference..

"hey,
how are the two getting along now?
i have someone in real estate who is asking for references he lives in san jose...
i understand buying a puppy online must be hard to do... would you say it went well?"

its going great, trask is wonderful and a quick learner. They both love playing around all day until they are exausted. I think that getting our second puppy from you speaks how highly we loved our first and how helpful and comfortable you made us feel. We love both our dogs we purchased from you and could not be more happy. thank you so much.

Jack

that pretty much says it all..

they thought he was so pretty and Birdie was sooo tiny ...

( she was a mini from Sylvias litter also being shipped that day)

at the vet for their health certifications.. trask and dori cuddle till its time to get checked out..

Trask and Birdie flew on United, and Dori went on Delta Dash that same day !

Sophie & Jack

First they got "Sophie", one of Spot's puppies.

"I just wanted to drop you a note and say how great Sophie is doing.  She is such a little peanut and is getting ready for her first vet appointment tomorrow.  She's able to "hold it" in the tub for about 3 hours so we've been introducing her to the crate by putting some toys and blankie in it and tell her "good girl" when she walks in to get her toys."

"She knows her name and responds to "come" already!"

" I was just sending some new photos of my little peanut to some friends and family and wanted to include you to see how happy she is.  As you can see, she loves to give kisses and we love it when she does.  She's starting to lose her teeth (we actually found one on the carpet for a keepsake) and loves to chew her toys (and I love to buy her new ones all the time).  It's amazing how quickly they grow and as I look at her true 'baby' pictures, I get teary eyed. "

____________

Later they added Jack to their family!

"I can't wait to bring him home.  My friends gave me a puppy shower last week so I've got so many great things waiting for him at home.  He'll be just as spoiled as Sophie, if not more.  See you tomorrow."

"Miss Christina,

Just a quick note to let you know that Jack is doing very well.  He is very spunky and loves Sophie.  As you can see by the pictures, he's small but he hangs on well.  She loves to play with him and they wrestle all the time.  I think having Sophie has allowed Jack to progress much quicker than usual.  He loves his toys and you can see doesn't have many of them! :-)  He sleeps through the nights and holds it all night long too!  Such a good little boy he is.  We enjoy watching he and Sophie play together and best of all, that little bark (squeak) that comes out of him.   Training started last week and he's already sitting like such a champ.  Thanks again for raising such little peanuts that allow us to have the joy of.   Please always feel free to us as a reference if you need one.  Best to you and your babies.  I'll send photos as we get some good ones.

Margaret & Craig
Sophie & Jack "

"I can't believe that Sophie will be 2 tomorrow and Jack is already 4 months old.  He has grown so much and is absolutely rotten but we love him and he is so much fun."

"We took him to the park for the first time last week and he played with an English Mastif who was over 100 lbs. "  "just a sweet picture of 2 pretty sunshine beagles."

"Hi Miss Christina and kids,

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that Craig and I were out walking Jack & Sophie on Saturday morning when a complete stranger stopped to ask us where we got those two beautiful beagles.  We gave him your information but were so tickled by someone random stopping the way they did.  Jack had his one-year checkup last weekend and even our vet said he was a wonderful example of the breed.

We hope you are all doing well.  Your home and expansion looks fabulous and I am sure you are loving it with all your precious pups!!"

"Cameron"

orange- as predicted she lightened up to a more rich orange as she grew.

Hi Miss Christina and family!
I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to write you guys!  I can't believe that it has been almost six months since we got our precious Cameron!  I have been checking up with the website and see that  you are busy busy with new puppies again!  They are all so cute, but of  course we think that Cameron is the cutest :)
She is doing great!  She is very well behaved and she has done  great potty training!  We have only had a few accidents!  I can't tell you how much we enjoy having her.  It makes me so happy to come home to a welcoming committee everyday! She and the cat, Lilly are doing well...Well, Cameron likes to  aggravate her a little, but she deals with it well, or just jumps on a table :) Cameron is so beautiful!  Her color has lightened up so much to such a pretty orange!  We get complements everywhere we take her!
We are definitely regulars at Pet smart.  We go to school, the vet and just fun visits to gets treats and toys at our Pet smart.   Cameron graduated from puppy obedience school in January and was invited to take the intermediate classes!  We are so proud of our little genius! We have decided that we want to add another addition to our family!  We think that Cameron would really love a little sister and of course we would too :)  We would love to talk to you guys about it and go  ahead and get on the waiting list too!
I cannot thank you guys enough for the wonderful work that you  do with these babies!  Cameron has brought great joy to our life.and we  love her so very much!
Here is one of our favorite pictures of Cameron.  I will send  more soon :)
Thanks again!
Sarah and Pat Stevenson
High Point, NC

Carson

she is the runt of the litter!

She is claimed by Sarah Stevenson from highpoint NC! Sarah is getting a little sis for "Cameron", her solid head orange female that she got from us almost a year ago. Cameron was one of Junebug's babies. Sarah joined the waiting list for another orange girlie like her Cameron, this time getting a blazed face.

"YAY!!! We are sooooo excited!  I can't stop looking at her picture!  I
even showed my 5th grade students what I was getting over the summer.
They loved her too, of course!  I think she will be just perfect!  We can't wait to meet her!"
-Sarah

everyone who came out commented on her cute markings. She has lots of white areas , these are open marked beagles, the solid black back of a traditional beagle ends up often to look like a saddle of black with orange/tan / or red shoulders and head once the black in those areas disappears . Orange and white beagles loose the black fur as they grow and become a beautiful dog everyone will stop and take notice of our current customers tell us ! One owner told us when he walks his two Orange and White boys people sometimes stop their cars and ask to buy them !!  He laughs and says are you kiddin , why would I want to sell these gorgeous show stoppers I get a lot of attention this way !! LOL !

Sarah came and got her  new baby!

Beagles are pack animals... or snuggle buddies!

(12/14/05)  The Bierck family has sent us pictures of their 6 sunshine acres beagles!
