"Oh, I'm so glad Charlie found a home!" We receive emails all the time from past customers and website-viewers, telling us that they still watch the site to see who gets what puppy, even if they've already gotten their own baby beagle from us. Here you can see the stories of our happy families from 2006.

  Lily

Lily went to an Interior Designer in Napa Calif.

wow what a view

she had a absolutely gorgeous  Less Shedding coat !

Sweetheart Snicker doodle, now called "Lily", helped mommie while she works on her e-mails ! She is a super loving lap doggie!

Toni was emailing back and forth with us in August about getting a beagle puppy that would be more of a lap dog.

"WE HAVE A 9 YEAR OLD MALE BEAGLE JACK RUSSEL MIX WHO WE LOVE, BUT HE IS NOT A CUDDLER."..

.." WE  WANT A INDOOR AND OUTDOOR DOG. WE LOVE CUDDLERS!!! WE HAVE A FULLY FENCED IN 3 ACRE YARD, SO LOTS OF ROOM TO PLAY AND RUN."

Here's their scoop:

"WE LOST A BELOVED DOG, STELLA, THIS PAST MARCH. SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL BLACK LAB-ROTTWEILER MIX, SWEET AS CAN BE. SHE WAS 11 YEARS OLD, DEVELOPED CANCER AND DIED QUITE QUICKLY. THANK GOODNESS SHE NEVER SUFFERED AND WAS ACTUALLY QUITE PLAYFUL UNTIL WITHIN DAYS OF HER PASSING. SHE WAS THE LONGEST DOG WE HAD EVER HAD AND HER PASSING HIT US VERY HARD, ESPECIALLY MY HUSBAND. BENE MISSES HER TO AND SINCE HE IS ALMOST 10 YEARS OLD WE WANT A FRIEND FOR HIM AND NEWER DOGS TO KEEP US COMPANY AND TO CUDDLE WITH. STELLA WAS OUR LOVER. BENE IS A BIT LESS CUDDLY. WE WANT A LAP DOG, THAT SNUGGLES AND KISSES. SHE WILL BE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR. NO CRATE. SHE WILL SLEEP IN OUR ROOM IN A BED. OUR DOGS ARE ALLOWED ON ALL OF OUR FURNITURE AND ANYWHERE IN OUR HOUSE. WE WILL POTTY TRAIN THEM FOR OUTSIDE. WE HAVE DOGGY DOORS, FENCED YARD AND INVISIBLE FENCE IN FRONT OF OUR ELECTRONIC GATES. THE DOGS WILL RUN FREE IN OUR YARD."

Then one day her brother surprised her with one he had found, "Olive",  but she still wanted a little sunshine baby from us. She said snicker doodles was just beautiful and decided on her.

Since shipping snicker doodles (now called "Lily") out to Cali, We have received numerous emails and picture updates! Enjoy!

Oct. 8: SHE IS A BEAUTY, HER COAT IS SO SHINY AND SOFT AND SUCH A PRETTY COLOR...SHE HAS SUCH A SWEET FACE, NOW I PRAY HER PERSONALITY WILL GO ALONG WITH HER FACE!!!...AT LEAST SHE WASN'T BITING US ALL THE TIME LIKE OLIVE!!!...SO FAR DID NOT SEEM LIKE A CHEWER EITHER, HOPE I PROVE THAT RIGHT LOL!!!

oct 8.
hi christina...thank you soooo much for such a love...look at how much fun they are having!!!....oh and how cute can olive and lily be sleeping together...

"DEAR CHRISTINA AND KIDS,

OH MY WORD, I CAN'T EXPRESS HOW CUTE LILY IS AND HOW MUCH FUN IT IS TO WATCH HER AND OLIVE INTERACT AND BENE,THE OLDER DOG, TOO.  I WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS LAST NIGHT, BUT ALL THAT WAS PUT TO REST THIS MORNING, AS LILY SEEMS VERY HAPPY AND HAS NOT BEEN GROWLING OR SNIPPING. SHE CERTAINLY IS HUNGRY THOUGH. I AM NOT GETTING ANYTHING DONE TODAY BECAUSE I AM HAVING SO MUCH FUN WATCHING THEM PLAY TOGETHER AND SLEEP TOGETHER AND SEE HOW LILY IS LEARNING THE LAY OF THE LAND."

"I SENT YOU PHOTOS THROUGH SNAPFISH, HOPE YOU GET THEM. I GO A BIT OVERBOARD WITH PHOTOS IN THE BEGINNING. I WILL KEEP YOU UPDATED.
SO FAR HER COAT IS GORGEOUS, COLOR AND SHEEN, NOW WE WILL SEE ABOUT THE SHEDDING (IT WON'T BE THAT BIG OF A DEAL FOR ME OTHER THEN IT WILL BE NEAT TO SEE IF IT IS TRUE!!!).
HOPE YOU HAD A GOOD WEEKEND SELLING YOUR WONDERFUL PUPPIES. I WILL STILL LOOK EVERYDAY TO SEE IF MY FAVORITES FIND A HOME (REGGIE, MAGGIE,SHASTA, OH WHAT THE HECK I LOVE THEM ALL AND WANT THEM ALL TO FIND WONDERFUL NEW HOMES!!!).

"HollyBerry!" A Christmas time surprise....

Autumn showing off "Holly"

Holly apparently likes her new bed! Here she is sounds asleep... on her back!

Dec 10 2006:

We drove down to Syracuse Friday morning and did some Christmas shopping in the 'big city' since we had to go down anyway. When we got to the airport, we found out the flight was delayed due to the weather. Instead of getting in at 5:00, she didn't get there till 6:45. My wife couldn't wait to get her out, and she snuggled right up to her. We were kind of expecting there to be some time for her to get used to us, but she was so affectionate right from the start. We headed out for the 2 hour ride back home through the snow, and she snuggled with my wife.

The kids were so surprised, after we reassured them that she was staying, my daughter Autumn just kept saying "I feel like I'm dreaming"

Holly spends her first night in the cold north country.

The puppy, which the kids named "Holly Berry", took to them right away. We were so surprised at how loving she was, like I said, we expected her to take a few days to get acclimated. She played with the kids for a while, got lots of loving, and then she tried out the bed we had purchased for her (before hand). She slept wonderfully, no need for liquid Valerian  root extract or anything : )

So, bottom line, we ABSOLUTELY LOVE her. We've also had at least 3 or 4 requests for business cards already!

Thank you so much.

    Kizzy

We got an e-mail from a young lady who was looking for a pet for her boyfriend, they were on their way out of town and hoped we could let them come look right away... so we got together and he just loved our tiny pup Kizzy... he told us they had been to other breeders in the area and been disappointed with the puppies they saw, his dad said they were in horrible condition and none were what they hoped for.

Amazingly they were even turned down by a shelter who after checking his vet references declined his application because his sister's dog was slightly overdue for its yearly booster shots at her vet.  They said this was so unfair because she had been pregnant and wasn't able to get in to have them done until after she delivered her baby, they said she had an appt and did get them done, but that was enough for the shelter to decline to let him have one of the dogs!!

Well as we say there is a puppy for every person, and a person who is right for every puppy.

After he took Kizzy home his mom called back to tell us how perfect she was for the family and they even mentioned now he has other family who wants one once they move into a new house ... we love it when our pups impress folks they meet !

She also told us it was fate he picked this one... cause when he was little his nickname was "Kizzle" !!

We got to see them again this week when her booster shots were due and the couple came back out to have us do her shots and worming for $10.  they said this was so much easier and affordable !!

They stopped by yesterday (05/04) so that we can board Kizzy while they go to the beach! Since her brothers are still here she gets to visit & play with them while she boards! We enjoy getting a chance to work with the puppies again while boarding them also.

Lots of our customer's like being able to drop off their pup when they vacation and know its not sitting in a cage at the vets office somewhere.. we are located on the way back to Charlotte if you use South 601, or Hwy 522 .

Sometimes folks think they will wait to get a new puppy till they have gone on their summer vacations and so on... so they wait till late summer to look for a puppy, and find there aren't as many to choose from as there were in Springtime ! and by then a spring puppy would have been fully housetrained and good indoors for the coming winter months..

One family told us they had decided to go ahead and get a pup now, and that way we could work with her during the  times they had planned to travel, and she'd enjoy her vacation here with us and her family.. while they enjoyed their visit to family out of state .

New update!:

Ms. Christina,

As we were celebrating Kizzy's first birthday we thought we would make you a part of it as much as we could by sending you a few photos of her over the last few months. Thank you so much for Kizzy she definitely has become my little buddy. She does great with me at school here in Charlotte; and she loves the outdoors as much as I do. She always tags along as I go to the park to play frisbee golf. Thanks again for such a great little friend who is most definitely spoiled. Hope everything is going well!

Chad, Lauren & Kizzy :)

"Karma" , "Claire", "GiGi", and "Cooper" are all littermates. "Sandy" on Get Two page is also their brother. :)

  "Karma"

Karma at the Airport with courier Jamie, one last bathroom break before she heads out to Indiana

Hi, all!

And to think I was afraid that she wouldn't eat!  What a little pig!  And her lungs are working just fine too!  She let me know last night that she was SURE that my bed was way more comfortable than hers!  We'll see...

She has charmed everyone we meet, from the crusty old guys at Delta to the little neighbor boys next door.  There's a waiting line of people who insist that I bring her to visit, and I could hardly get the kids to let go of her this morning to go to school.  I'm sure glad that adorable little girl at your house didn't haul her off yesterday, but I think she missed out...I'm pretty sure Karma is the pick of the litter!

Thanks again!  She's wonderful!  She's snoring on my lap right now...sure glad ONE of us can get some sleep!

Sherrie

(Adorable Little girl who didn't get to haul her off!)

Hi Ms. C.!

Sorry my Christmas greeting is a little late.  Hope you all had a great holiday!

All is well here…thought you might like to see Karma now (9mos) sporting her new Cincinnati Bengals jersey…my husband’s fault…

She is a wonderful little dog!  We never run short of hugs or kisses, and she’s great with the kids.  (But my son says she snores while playing video games…and reading…and watching TV.  I guess it takes a lot of rest time to keep up with those kids!)  She’s exactly what we hoped she would be—a friend to all.

Take care and thanks again,

Sherrie

  "Gi Gi" silver mini girl

This young couple told us they found our website a year ago while living in Washington DC. and looked at it all this while, waiting for the right timing ... she wrote us and made contact some time ago , and they decided to go ahead and find their pocket beagle a little sister.

They said they were hoping for a pup who would be his size or smaller, and when they saw this litter of mini pups were now ready they

e-mailed from their new home in Atlanta to ask if they could drive up to meet the mini girls we have now.

originally they thought of getting another tri colored beagle, but once they saw GiGi the silver sweetie, they were smitten...  they loved her color and personality, and found her to  be the perfect addition to their happy home!

They told us they thought Bob was little, but after seeing Laney, and some of our mini mommies they couldn't believe how much smaller our mini beagles were ... she was just what they were hoping for.

( they said Bob's breeder called their dogs Pocket beagles)

we've seen some web sites where these go for as much as $1700/

 "Claire"

Claire's new family from Cabarrus county wanted a new puppy to enjoy over the summer break. They have 3 sons, and due to the age of their baby they wanted a gentle & cuddly pup. They loved her adorable sweet personality and have since written to say that she and their 14 mo old are already great buds, and is now momma's little girl! Not only was she adored by her family, but was also a big hit at the vet's office when she went for her first puppy visit !

"Brecken - our 14 mo. old son really enjoys her since she is so small - they are so cute together - chasing after each other. She actually followed him crawling up the stairs yesterday - I was surprised as I didn't think she was able to do so yet. Having 3 boys, she is my little girl.  All our neighbors can't believe how "good" and "cute" she is and they all ask if they can have her!  NOT!!!"

   " Cooper"  Silver male

Cooper relaxes while Christi works on the website .

super laid back personality, and gorgeous unique silver coat make him a special guy.

"this bed sure is comfy!"

We heard from a young couple that they were hoping to get a puppy who was a real calm, cuddly sweetie.. they loved Cooper's eyes and asked if he was still available.. because Denver the hubby was just about to ship out with the marines to Japan and he wanted to give her a puppy to come home to each day so she wasn't alone in the house during his absence.. one that would snuggle and sleep with her ..etc. we knew our Cooper  was perfect for the job, and they rushed out the day before he was to leave to meet him.

As Denver said, " I knew he was the one... He had me at Hello... "

  amiable "Angus" now called Tucker

He was always wagging his tail!

he was a birthday surprise for a boy named Chad. After a swim with his pals, Chad heads out here for a big b-day surprise. He was expecting maybe a guitar or something, and instead went home with a new friend!

He looked at his mom & dad and he said " You're giving me a puppy?

This is the best birthday present ever!"

(just let us know ahead of time and we are happy to play along with the surprise for your child )
what will they remember down the road .... another game or toy...?
a day at an amusement park with their friends...
or ...
a new best friend who grows  up with them ?

Here's the update!!  Dec 23:

Hi Christina and kids!

Just wanted to give you an update on our sweet puppy.  We picked up "Angus" on July 3 and spent the next few days deciding on a new name.  After much discussion "Angus" became "Tucker"; he has also become a beloved member of our family.  Jingle accepted Tucker as a bit of a nuisance, but tolerated his puppy antics, even allowing Tucker to share her bed occasionally!  Yet I knew that Jingle was not quite herself, and it had nothing to do with having a new beagle in the house.  I took Jingle to the vet a week after Tucker's arrival and soon learned that Jingle had lymphoma.  Needless to say, it was a very sad time around our house.  Jingle was a sweetheart until the end, even on her bad days.  We finally had her put down in early October, the hardest thing we have ever done.  But thankfully we had Tucker.  I don't know how we would have managed without him.  He has stolen our hearts and charms everyone who enters our front door.

Mocha (formerly known as Swiss)

Mocha and our Grace

They've sent us many pictures & captions of Mocha + their beagle leo!!~

Mocha and Leo

"Hey Christina...

Here are some pics of Mocha! She is so sweet...we are working on her crate training and she is doing better! We just love her to death! I will definitely keep you updated with pics and let you know how she is doing.

Take Care! "

Mocha playing in her bed

"Whew! I feel so small next to Leo!"

Hi Christina...Here are some more pics of Mocha! Enjoy!

I have noticed that she is becoming more of a lap dog...she will come and lay in my lap on the couch...she is such a sweet and pretty little dog.

I did correspond with the ladies in Spring a couple of times and we traded pics of our puppies!  They said they are getting another puppy from you from a December litter.

Mocha went to the vet yesterday for her 12wk puppy shots and she weighs 7lbs now.

We are certainly enjoying having Mocha in our family!

Hugs to you and all of your puppies!

"I am so pretty...mommy loves to take my picture!"

Okay, take one last pic and then it's off to dreamland for me....

     " JJ"

his new family told us they were replacing a beagle they got from a local hunter, who told them she was of no use to him because she was a runt , but that they would never make an indoor pet out of a hunting bred beagle..

he said you'll never housebreak her.

After having spent many a time looking for her in the neighborhood while she put her nose to the ground...

and seeing he was right about housebreaking they wrote to tell us they could really relate to what we say about the differences in bloodlines in beagles !

We hear their older dog is really surprising them with how Mothering she is to him and unlike their other beagle

she lets him even sleep in her crate with her because he is so gentle and such a sweetie !

They also told us he's already crying to be let out to go "hurry up " when he needs to and learning to ring a bell hung on the door to go out to do his business.. that's so neat !

Zack sold now

our cute little Zack was sold to a Raleigh couple who just lost their young beagle.

they told us this would be their 3rd beagle,

the first only lasted 4 mo. she came from a flea market ..

and had constant health issues

Unfortunately, we have heard this before about pups that came

from flea markets.. she died with heart problems that were genetic.

our pups are covered by our Genetic Death Guarantee.

if one of our pups were to die in the first year of a genetic defect, something we could prevent by breeding..

we would replace that puppy. plane and simple.

.............................................................

the second would take off from their yard and they would have to hunt him down...

the last time he didn't make it back home..

they decided to replace him with a homebody developed to be just a happy lap dog !

Zack was just the ticket, a quiet , and calm snuggle bug who only wants to be close to you.

She said we cant wait to get him home to meet my daughter.. she doesn't know about  loosing our last dog yet ,

some how we think having this little sweetheart will help break the news and make it easier since he wont

have that hunting instinct to get away from our yard like our last beagle did.

to date in 15 years of breeding our specially developed bloodline of AKC Show Champion/ Companion Dog CDX.

Family Raised House pet Variety beagle puppies..

( we have yet to have anyone complain their pet was a problem escaping their yard to track and scent prey

the way hunting hounds are infamous for..)

they just want to be inside with you and your family lapping up the attention.

( we hate to hear it when folks tell us these types of experiences, its a shame Hunter's sell off the pups they decide not to

keep for themselves to the unsuspecting public so cheap.. knowing they most often won't be happy staying home

with their new family, but constantly attempting to get free to head to use the talents bred into them over many years

of concentrated effort. ) we give away any dogs we have purchased for breeding who show this tendency to

hunt.. rather than sell any pups interested in hunting more than loving to our customers ...

we just want house pets  not hunters..

She told us she got him from another person who wasn't able to keep him ...

gee I bet I know why they decided to give him up... ever wonder about those free dogs you see in the paper?

how many times would it take you having to go look for your families pet worrying about it making it home

to convince you its worth it to get a beagle who just wants to be a house pet?

Look at those Shiny coats!! all these have our unique less shed coats! Just wonderful if you plan to have an indoor pet !!

 Butterscotch

these are rare and just

adorable !!

 orange and white beagle.

her new family had a sad story.. they purchased a pup from the Pineville pet store and at 11 weeks she died of an apparent genetic defect ( heart problem) the store didn't even replace her. They had to break the news to his kids and decided to have a new healthy home raised pet to replace her with..

no more pet store pups... never again.

BIG SURPRISE  !!! "Carabba"

recently we received an e-mail from a mom saying she wanted to surprise her daughter with her first puppy !!

she named her "Carabba" for the lead singer in her favorite band...

( this one was one of the huge litter of 13 pups we recently had that wasn't named  or shown yet on the site )

her sister on the right above has a cat, but this had been her daughter's dream since she was 4 yrs old to get her own puppy!!

so mom and dad kept this a big secret... and on their way to a family get together in Columbia SC.

they took a new short cut ...

and came out to visit Sunshine Acres Beagles, so she could pick out her choice of the pups !!

as soon as they got out of the car she noticed our beagles in the invisible fenced area and a few pups out in the front yard playing... she looked at her mom and found out she was here to pick out one to take along..

"NO WAY,  your kidding.... "

yep, pick whichever you want...

we came inside and she got to see more pups and found the one that was just what she wanted.

she said your kidding ,we get to take it along with us, I can't believe this !! We will need supplies
and things for her... nope mom ordered all the things she will need on-line from the sunshine acres suggested items page links.. and we have everything hidden in the trunk of the car.. lets go see ..

( here's a blanket to rub on the littermates so the first night away is easier...)

and toys , a crate, leash etc.

everything she will need... except a collar... that you get to pick out for her !!

Miss Christina got a big hug, and the shock on her face was priceless..

you cant believe how long she has wanted her own dog the family told us.

another sunshine acres beagle puppy happy ending..

"Carver

  Carver in rear of bed

17 week old Carver is still puppy sized but  had his vet work done  already

which saves quite a bit on shots and wormings since we have already completed them now. But he was born in July !

some people like getting a slightly older puppy , one repeat customer emailed me  last summer saying she wanted a younger brother

for her dog she purchased from us  a year before.. and did we have any at least 12-14 weeks old.?

I asked her why she always preferred the older ones, and she told me that way they are able to be crate trained easier,

she had read that pups around that age  were able to hold their bladder all night and were easier to house train.

  silly Carver rolls over !!

he was born to a rare colored mom and has our wonderful shorter less shedding coat.

this is unusual in a tri color beagle, its something we have spent years to develop and on occasion

some tri colored pups get it from having come downline from our rare colored parents..

Carver and Tag zzzz.. puppy nap time...

already paper trained these boys make it easy to get a pup!

Parker top left choc. male avail.

tag middle chocolate avail male , Dillon blazed tri male under him sold, carver right bottom is sold now.

he went home with a young lady in College .  Her dad and I knew each other in High School

because his family lived across the street from my Grandparents in Stanley NC.

I recognized the last name and asked her in one of the e-mails we exchanged if she was related and sure enough

that was her Grandparents ... neat when its such a small world isn't it?

              "Twix" standard chocolate male

he is one of Minkie's litter of 4 boys and 4 girls born July 18th. He is the brother of "Lily"(at the top of this page) his coat  was wonderful , short , and shiny, less shedding fur ! just a gorgeous chocolate male !  His new family e-mailed us saying they were so relieved to find our web site... they had a deposit down already with an Atlanta beagle breeder for another blue tick hound beagle and an appt. to drive down there to pick it up sat. She asked if they could come out and get Twix instead saying she had had a blue tick beagle who constantly ran off and always thought she had done something wrong in her upbringing..

once she read our site about the differences in the way we selectively breed for pets that don't have that desire and instinct she was glad to cancel her hotel reservations there and forgo her deposit to get one here locally that wouldn't grow up to be that type of problem again.. she loves the breed  just not the tracking abilities of a hunter !  We said sure I have just the one for your family , she also said he would be gorgeous with her colors in their home... the previous beagle shed so much they had to get rid of a couch it was so full of fur... they loved his less shed coat and calm personality and couldn't be happier to find us !   They also have a golden who was just too big for the kids and thought a beagle would be great !

she loved the fact that he could also come stay with us in our home when they vacation , or travel... not be put in an unfamiliar kennel somewhere caged while they were out of town in the future.. another good reason to find your pet here.. hunters don't offer this to their customers !

Clark & Dash

Clark & Greyson

A couple wrote us saying hubby Milo was due to ship out in the Military and Bryanna needed a cuddly

moma's boy to keep her company on cold nights alone while dad was going to be gone... I think we did the trick  !! another happy family !

"Clark"

Hi Christina,

I just wanted to let you know how things are going with Martin.  We changed his name to Clark.  He's adorable.  Just perfect.  Loves to travel...he just sleeps the whole time.  Gets along great with other dogs and other people, young and old.  He's starting to get the hang of the potty training thing, which is making us happy!  He's a Momma's Boy, according my my husband.  He is already used to sleeping in his crate at night.  The lights turn out and he goes to bed (he snores too).  No crying at all.  He's a great dog and we couldn't be happier with him.  He's perfect for us.  Thank you so much!

I've attached a picture of him for you.  He just got done playing with his monkey and was resting in my husbands lap.  Which reminds me, is there any way that you can email me one of the pictures you took of us when we first chose him?  I'd love to have it for my scrapbook.

Thanks so much for everything!

Bryanna and Milo Nelson

"Bogey"

Miss Christina's son Cody sleeps & cute little angel Bogey rests!

The Knouse couple from Mathews NC emailed us in April of '06, telling us they had just lost their lemon beagle "Corbin". With no children, he was their baby. They went on to tell us they wanted to plan their next addition to their family, and asked for an appointment.

" "We want to learn as much as we can from you guys about the "right" fit for our family.  We do know that we want a beagle that loves to cuddle, friendly with children, likes to ride in the car, walks nice and enjoys a lot of kissing and hugging from his parents. " "

They came out to visit our baby beagles & put down a deposit for their future puppy!

" "Christina,
It was so nice meeting you and all of your little guys today.  I cannot stop thinking about those puppies.  Each and everyone is so very cute.
We appreciate your willingness to help us find exactly the right one with lots of white, medium size and at the right time."
"

Once this little guy was born they came out to see him & made a life long connection!

"

"Miss C,
Thanks for letting Micah and I come to visit this afternoon.  We keep looking at the pictures and love all the white on him.

We cannot wait to see his little eyes open in a few weeks.
Maybe we can plan to stop back down around 7-8-06 or 7-9-06.
We are very excited yet a little nervous!!!!  We have not had a puppy in 10 years.
This is only our second dog together.
Those puppies are lucky to have you taking such good care of them!"

 "Paulie"

Paulie's new owner e-mailed us saying she was just about to move out of the area and was hoping to come get one of our very special hand raised house pet variety beagle pups before she moved to Conn. for her fiancé's as a surprise.

They already had a large dog but wanted one to be a lap dog inside.  She told us she is a Starbuck's mgr. and one of her regular customers had one of our Silver beagles "Chandler" and she looked forward to his visits with his owner on the outdoor patio at her Starbucks location in Charlotte!

" Shasta" says hi to "Grace"

Hi Christine, thought we'd give you an update on cocoa A.K.A.shasta A.K.A. coco.  She rode home beautifully, slept almost all the time, woke her for potty breaks when we stopped for gas or to eat.  Made herself right at home here, bought her a bed that she just loves, plays hard and sleeps a lot.  Potty training seems to going well, she gets a lot of lovin and is content, talk to you again soon

Jim and Corrine

 Griff   5/14

Griff's new family has one of our beagles and they were so pleased with him and his personality that they wanted another!

They came out to look and she surprised her daughter who only knew we lived in the country but not who or why they were visiting us that day... she said mom, do they have any animals??

boy was she surprised to find they were here to take home a new puppy !!

  "Toby"

he was one we like to call a Bernie the beanie puppy... he looked like the beanie baby version of a saint Bernard with the wide blaze on his face dark ears and around his eyes..

his family is in the Military and had a deposit down for a rare color boy for their son,  He  picked out Marley's adorable rare colored male and named him Toby.

They drove over on a weekend, got a room so they could do some sight seeing and came to pick him up the next am. right before we took a pup who was going to Penn. and one going to IN. to the airport..

( the young teacher who had Carver shipped to her in Penn. said it was well worth the $127. Delta Dash she wasn't able to get  away and drive down so sending him PDQ was the quickest way to get her puppy home.)

either way is fine with us..
Whether your family can get away and drive to pick up the pup, or have us send it by airline...

everyone is happy when they chose one of our baby beagles !!
If your family is considering getting  a pet, contact us we are happy to help match one with your dreams..
just ask and we are happy to provide letters of reference from our many happy customer's !!

Surprise !!

OH , I boy,  I get to have my own puppy !!

this little boys mom had e-mailed us a while back saying he wanted a pup , and she wanted to bring him to surprise him... so they planned to make a day of it and boy what a big surprise it was!! he was so happy to be getting one of his own.

while we talked and Miss Christina went over her housebreaking tips and the toys and items we recommend and don't recommend, it wasn't long till his new pup was so comfortable with his new pal he fell off to sleep on his lap!
he was the first pup I showed them, and sure enough even after looking at other's he was the one they picked... I told them someone told me recently ... gosh you just knew which one we should have didn't you.. it was the one you recommended first.. and the one we liked best after all... guess that's cause you and your kids spend so much time with them you just know them so well.. and its a good idea not to just put your phone number in your ads,, so you have a chance to e-mail back and forth a bit to know us before we just came right out the day we saw an ad.. that way you can truly match the right one with the right family !! Cool.. it all makes sense !

 " Goldie"     sold now

This Concord family had lost their beagle and contacted us about getting another rare colored one to replace her.  They came out last weekend and looked and couldn't decide...

both Goldie and Shasta were adorable!

so they went home to think it over... that rarely happens here !! no-one leaves empty handed, but we knew they would be back.. and sure enough dad came Friday to pick up Goldie to join the family!!  Their last beagle ran off to sniff and track and they were anxious to have one of ours that would stay home with them so we knew they would come back for one of ours!

"Eli"

They sent up this update:

Hey,
We are John Loftin, Sarah Coburn and son Jeff.
We came down to visit in October and purchased an orange male puppy from you.
We had just moved into a new home in Mebane, NC and needed a new "baby" to complete our family.  There were two other couples getting tri puppies and we picked our Eli, he was the biggest pup out of is litter.
He is almost 10 months now, I wanted to send you a picture of him to update how cute he is and thank you for a wonderful part of our family!!
Take care and keep up the good work!!
John, Sarah and Jeff

"Hi,
Recently I sent you a picture of our dear Eli under the Christmas tree.  Since it is warm weather, I wanted to send you another of one of the things he loves to do....swim in our pool!!!!  He also loves our hot-tub!!  He jumps into both swims around and gets out!!  He loves water like a Lab!!  Here, he is on Jeff's back drying off catching some rays.  We got him last fall from you, he will be a year in August.
I'm sure he will spend his birthday with a pool party.  Hope all is well with you and your family...keep up the good work and love for the greatest beagles in the world!
love,
John, Sarah, Josh and Jeff Coburn/Loftin"

Sally and Baby Blue helped each other raise their pups by sharing duties..

he said...I guess we did some things wrong... well I didn't find " You" to get one from..!!

this time it will be a good experience for the family.

    zzzzzz  !!!

Hello Christina,

Hope you and your family are doing ok.

Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know how Godiva is doing.

She is "ROTTEN"!!!!     But  In a very good way....  Everyone
LOVES
Godiva!!

She sleeps on the bed with Ginger , me and my husband.  She goes outsidewith Ginger to play when she wants  to.  They can come in when they want. They love to play with one another. She really has a big appetite.  When morning comes she runs to the kitchen for breakfast.   I always mix a little chicken or roast beef or turkey intheir dog food and warm it in the microwave.  She gets so excited when I dothis..  She is so funny and such a joy to have around!!
She loves LIFE!!

We have around 56 acres of farm land outside of town and on the weekends wetake them walking.   The first couple of weekends when we put her in thecar she cried.  I don't know why, but she cried the whole ride.  Maybe she was afraid of us taking her and leaving her somewhere or maybe she was justafraid of the car trip...  Anyway she is use to it now and seems to look forward to it....

Below are a couple of pictures I scanned of her.  I Will try to get you a package in the mail very soon.  Take care of yourself, children and all the beags!!    LOL!!!!!!!!

" BJ" is sold now he went to Lexington.

 "BJ"

"BJ" 's new mom e-mailed saying she had seen our site a few months ago and was at her computer and just decided to check us again

... she had wanted to get her hubby another beagle.  They lost theirs and had tried another breed of dog , and he'd say" your a nice dog , but your not a Beagle..." to their current dog..

they had had a tri color and that's what she came to get.. but when they met cute spunky little BJ. mom liked his color and daughter just liked him ! I told them lots of people come thinking they just want the standard look and change their mind when they meet the rare colored pups.

Also she agreed with what some people suggest... when replacing a beloved dog.. get a different gender , or coloring so you don't find yourself comparing them. Each is its own identity and personality to love this way.

Hi Christina and family! I hope ya'll are doing well and ready for Christmas. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for our beautiful puppy, he is wonderful. Carson loves him and they play all the time. He has fit right into our family. Our 2 labs and cat love him too, he drives them crazy sometimes, but that is just a puppy! He is getting so big and as you can see by the picture he is very handsome. I do not have your address, but I would love to mail pictures, I take them all the time! Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and again thank you.

  "Dale"

he has a gentle nature and is very happy to be held and cuddled with.

Punkin's pups at the door waiting to come in..    Dale and Reggie

  born July 21st 06

he loves to lay still and be close to you.   his fur is short and dark jet black and is less shedding !
he went home with a family from concord who took their young son to the animal shelter to
get a dog over the weekend.. they emailed us saying it was so overwhelming and smelly and dirty the dogs were
big and scary ... he ended up crying and wanting to go home instead of take one home...

so mom wrote and asked us if we had a pup that would be good for him..

we knew just who to suggest..

they came out and fell for him instantly.. he was soooo calm and good and let their son hold him so easily..

it was perfect.. one son had allergies so the less shedding fur was perfect too !

they thanked us for letting them come take Dale back to be their little buddy ! he was just right !

the first couple to send a deposit to hold a xmas pup came out & made their choice after work one eve.

Surprise kids...

Here they are, choosing out their new "sink"!

When they got in the car this morning, they had no idea that they were going to be coming home with a cuddly beagle puppy on their lap!

mom and dad played this to the hilt.. telling the girls they had to go get a sink someone was selling
for their remodeled kitchen.. when they came in and saw the pups... they wouldn't believe them..
"no we're not getting a puppy, no we are not !! you said we had to wait till I am nine" one daughter said ..

finally it sunk in and they said "oh my gosh that is our puppy to take home right now !!!!"

they named him "Bandit"!!
