Sunshine Acres Beagle Puppies

We do stand behind our puppies by offering a one year genetic death guarantee, we would replace with a similar puppy if one were to die of a genetic defect during the first year you own him. We are not a big pet store, so we don't give a refund, and we can't be sure that customers will continue the recommended veterinary care once they take the puppy home- shots, wormings & all the necessary things to raise a happy healthy puppy, but we can control the genetic aspect. Also if a puppy were to die within the first week and the vet verified it was a pre-existing desease, we would replace the puppy. This hasnt been an issue before though, and we've had great success with producing happy healthy puppies for many years.

We feed our mommies well adding in special extra beneficial foods to the Eukanuba or Iams they are getting that day !  Once they have their puppies we really step it up and cook meats , fresh grown eggs and dairy products like cheese and cottage cheese added for protein to make gorgeous shiney coats, and soft feeling fur just what our adoptive families are eager to enjoy snuggle time with !  Beagles were designed to have a course longer hair that breaks off easily in the brambles and briars they tended to go into to find the rabbits they were bred to track down for their owners.  Since ours are only for pet homes with families to love those traits are selectively minimized as best we can and the lines indoor companionship is highlighted including temperament and desire to be with their family from a very young age here with our family and friends to give love from day one .
We give our puppies de-wormer at 2 weeks old, and do so routinely every 2 weeks- worms & eggs can be easily picked up in the soil by any dog,    anywhere, and the whole process can start all over, so we give it regardless of whether they have them or not. We like to do the puppies’ shots in front of their new owner, and put the label off of the vial onto the health records so that the customer can tell their vet that they saw the shot done and give him the records , and won’t be forced to repeat that shot for a fee, which some vets do understandably  on the basis that many breeders say they do shots,  but didn’t. Therefore we like to do it in front of the person so folks know it was done, and can avoid unnecessary expenses for our customers by doing whatever shots may be currently due if any are so they have 2-3 weeks before needing to go spend money at a  vet’s office.

It is important to find a vet that is considerate, and loves dogs not one who is not out for the money, Find one  who actually cares about the happiness of you and your pet, and helps you take a step back from any  problem and look at the big picture,  & all possible causes if any thing should come up over the life of your dog.  Everything should be approached with the objective of ensuring a healthy puppy against whatever they may come across in the big world, not scaring clients into a “I need help” state of mind.  Prevention is easily done with a good routine set for your new family member .  should they contract something you can look online at options you can do to help . above all , Do not Panic, you want a vet that helps you maintain your calm energy while evaluating the condition from a logical standpoint, not one who scares an uninformed customer into coming to them for every possible concern expecting the worst, giving them the power to overcharge for relatively common situations. If your vet seems quick to jump to conclusions and scaring you into needing them for years to come, consider finding another vet who helps you understand the true nature of things, and see all the way through to the other side. Life is full of surprises, and anything can happen as they explore new situations and come across new germs, parasites, which you as their owner can help them overcome by giving your new puppy a dose of wormer every two weeks from the day you picked it up from us.

We will have given one last dose here that day in front of you and its free of charge.

 As your new family members grows up in your home remember Its how you react that will determine your family's true strength, and success for the future with your new family member getting started exploring your world as well as those you take them to. Just like with a child off to school, there is no telling what he or she will happen to come in contact with be it germs from a neighbors dog or one at the park , or rest area you take them to , by routinely giving wormer you help keep your pup tip top shape and a bottle is less than ten dollars and will last you half a year or so.  We will even give you a syringe and show you how to give worming medicine the day you adopt your new pup.

cause you never know what your puppy might happen to contact with in the big world or what he may be faced with, but with understanding and devotion they will have the opportunity to overcome any obstacle, and everyone will pull through stronger and life will continue on a happy note ! The most important thing is to remember the big picture, stay true to your goal, remembering that everyone's goal is for a lifetime of happiness and harmony in the years to come with your new famlly member by your side for a long happy life together !

Our Beagle pets, exclusive Bloodline:
Since 1990 we have developed & raised our Sunshine Acres Beagles for house pet friendly qualities. Ours are not the typical beagles designed for hunting abilities you find in the local papers. We have spent  years selectively choosing & keeping our breeding lines for homebodies that make excellent Loving Lap dogs, and have placed them only into pet homes.

These puppies are intended for Pet Homes Only, not for breeding, hunting, showing or resale. We provide a copy of the parent's/ancestor's AKC papers to show that our pet-puppies are of pure blood AKC Beagle origins. Litters are not individually registered to prevent breeding or resale of our Sunshine Acres Beagles, which is prohibited.
We reserve the right to place our pups only into homes we are comfortable with, and refuse to sell our babies to anyone planning to Hunt or breed our uniquely developed bloodline.

If you currently have a beagle, we will ask for their spay/neuter receipt prior to selling any of our puppies to safeguard our many years of work developing our exclusive bloodlines of Pet only pups.
If you intend to adopt Two, we will only sell littermates, or pups of the same gender. If they are going to be unrelated, they must be the same gender to avoid accidental breeding of the unique  house pet variety line Miss Christina has developed.

(Cooper is now grown & one of our stud muffins! He has grown into a handsome khaki boy who has recently sired some  litters !! he is a 10 inch mini khaki beagle!

   As stated, our pet-only beagle lines are no longer registered with the AKC , who's organization differs from our family's mission of producing non-hunting/sporting hounds, for indoor pet homes, and our puppies are not for breeding, hunting trials/showing, or otherwise re-sale, and are intended for forever pet homes who only want a pure-bred beagle companion.
   Our mission is evidently much different in raising beagles for pets only, and while we have been told by the business that the purpose of a beagle is not for companionship but for sportsmanship,  we know that there are many people in this country who simply want an all around good housepet. Our family's philosophy of hand raising our beagles with loving care keeps us from conforming to a more "kenneled" environment & that lack of quality of life & socialization with children and other dogs that we think is important to produce lil homebodies & is important to our clients . Our doggies love the social interaction that our huge acreage property affords them, as well as the exercise and stimulation of running and playing with all the various ages, colors, sizes, genders together as a happy Sunshine Acres Pack. We were being told to give each a cement floor kennel run separated by chain link wiring for their record keeping benefit, we feel that is not how our happy families want their pet raised before coming to their home and family.

   We do confirm that our beagles are pure bred beagles, and that is why we provide a copy of the parents / ancestors papers to show that they are all of pure bred AKC  origins and lineage . We no longer individually register litters, and as a pet home you would not need papers, which also helps to weed out all breeders who used to contact us to purchase puppies to go into business using our years of work developing our unique line for families to enjoy only, and protects us from the possibility of people who find they are not able to keep a puppy - they would need to contact us for finding an appropriate good home, protecting us from them easily re-selling their beagle to the potential of a breeder who would purchase a registered beagle to put in their own kennel program. We feel other big breeder's kennels made to AKC specifications of chainlink runs and cement floors segregating dogs for easy identification purposes is not the type of lifestyle our homebody beagles would be happy in.

   We as well as our many happy customers and repeat customers feel our babies are worth the price we charge, not because of a paper, but because of the years of selective breeding for our exclusive pure bred companion beagle line, and the man hours that we devote from the moment they're born to hand raising them right for that indoor companion pet lifestyle.

If someone is unable to keep their Sunshine Acres Beagle for any reason, we ask that they contact us about the situation and seek our help in working through it, since we do not allow customers to resale our family raised babies.

We devote ourselves to hand-raising our family-oriented puppies, and likewise put much care & consideration about who we approve to adopt one of our unique companion beagles. 
Our mission is for a lifelong happy family, and we are here to help insure that goal in any way we can.

We do from time to time help families who are unable to keep their pet due to moving etc, and show these beagles on our Available Adult Dogs, Retire, and Rescues page, so that our followers can see these pets and consider them as a potential match.
