Expectant moms are in our birthing room attached to the house so we can watch over them as it gets closer to their delivery time and spoil them with Iams puppy biscuits and home cooking from Miss Christina's kitchen so they make rich healthful milk for all the little mouths we raise up for folks here "Your almost like a surrogate mom someone commented once ,she said your caring for my future baby beagle and I want to help!"
we love hearing that and knowing our future adoptive family will care for our little one responsibly ,

Once you've reviewed our website and have learned about our family, and we've reviewed your email(s) to learn about you & approve your home for adoption, You can begin holding your spot in the claiming process by joining the Waiting List for the right little sunshine puppy to arrive for you! Once on the waiting list, you can review our extra pages such as Puppy Guidance to begin preparing, and you are welcome to stay in line as long as you wish, choosing to adopt when it all works out perfectly for everyone!

If you choose to claim your very own baby, then you can watch them grow up on the website as we post pictures!

Many folks like to send along a puppy care package for their baby to have, and take home familiar toys when its time for homecoming! Once youve claimed a puppy for your own we will find a good day for everyone for puppy homecoming, and help you welcome your new family member into your pack!

We love our beagles and want to find the very best homes for each of them so they fit in and become part of the family ! Single folks often like to get a new buddy to enjoy their apartment with and give them a good reason to get out and meet folks walking their best friend in the Parks that many dog friendly condo's and apt.s have these days. Some have fenced in walking and play areas and the owners let their pets off leash to romp with their buddies and meet and become friends with other single pet parents :)

Mocha's family loved coming out to visit him as he grew up here in our home and each time would also bring treats to share with us and the puppies we raise here in our home.

once grown Mocha was a frequent visitor we enjoyed seeing when his family traveled home to Canada where they had moved from right before they adopted him from us !

we watch as kids grow up and to off to visit and go to Disney and all over... and enjoy the friendships we make with all our extended family who have sunshine beagles !

Petsmart Gift cards let us find the most needed items at the time so we keep everyone happy and healthy here at your puppies first ever home and family . Often we have a need for bedding such as sheets and towels for the newborns and love it when families donate their kids outgrown sheet sets for the babies here to sleep on :) !

Angie Smith's Family sent us sheets and blankets the kids had outgrown and chocolates to thank us for all our hard work raising their two sunshine boys :) she also sent a Game Fly Gift Card for son Cody , and Sushi restaurant card for daughter Christi , and Bath and Body items for us all to enjoy as well as the puppies when they are bathed for their new owners on homecoming morning !! yum they smell delish !!we love folks who get into it and help us make the best babies we can and share the experience with others ..

so they have a hand in their puppies upbringing in its first home with us :) At Sunshine Acres !

the Whitakers from Calif. sent a neat soft cat print bed for Grace and beagle water bottles for the kids and Miss Christina to use :) It really shows us our new extended family members are folks we would love to keep in touch with over the years and get updates on our loved ones from as they mature into wonderful homebody pets , we love hearing how our kids are growing up from folks we have come to love from their participation in their puppys upbringing from the start even if its to bring a yummy surprise that keeps Miss C. from having to cook that busy day its all done with love and we cant thank folks enough !

this was one of the toys that microwave warms up to put in with their puppy at night while he sleeps he got used to it here first and loved having it they told us !

the chicken strips for mom's making healthy milk were a great idea we love having yummy things for the mother's to enjoy !

The O'Neil family sent toys and special coffee for Christi and Miss C. knowing the long nights we stay up with birthing moms here and how hard it is to get up and do college work , website updates and emails when your sleepy LOL :) they also thought of a mothers nutrition fund check so we could purchase puppy bolstering healthy items like goat cheese , liver mush, puppy formula and cottage cheese etc. for the mothers and puppy's even before it was their turn to choose their new pup !!

The future brings opportunity, and planning ahead helps it all come together when the time is right !

some families keep it a secret till they arrive to take home the puppy they've picked out for the new family member, these folks told the kids they were taking um along with their grandparents who came down from up North for the big day to a picnic...
what a surprise they actually came to take home their new best friend :) !!

After pre-approving your household for the adoption of one of our family members, you are welcome to become a member of the Waiting List so that we can focus in on your details and desires, making finding the perfect match much easier as we all peice the puzzle together!

For more Info on the Deposit/ $100 down payement to become pre-approved on the waiting list and claiming your very own puppy, click here! The deposit applies towards the purchase of your new sunshine beagle puppy, is non refundable, lets us know you're serious about the commitment, and holds your spot in line to claim your very own puppy, also locking in the current prices for you if they were to go up over time. The deposit is also applied to hold the puppy you choose until you welcome him or her into your family on homecoming day.

Larger Standard sized Tri colored "Darby" is expecting a litter now that will arrive in May and come home in mid July .
she should have tri and rare colored puppies in standard size .

alot of her babies in her first litter looked like their mom especially this cutie boy :) !

and most of her puppies were big beagles like their mom and good for active young couples who like to hike and jog etc.

we have been busy breeding for Summer Break litters !

There is already alot going on around here in preparation for Springtimes abundance as the weather warms mother nature kicks in gear and flowers and baby animals arrive all around us here in the countryside :) !!

ask for info if that timeframe works best for your family and we can preapprove your home and family for a sunshine beagle puppy and have you join our expectant parents list holding your spot in the claiming process . please be patient hearing back from us if you wont be ready till spring or summer we work with each adoption one at a time and placing our little ones in the right home is all important to us . Its likely if you dont hear back that we are tied up with newborns and their care and safety comes first, we look for understanding families who appreciate that is what we think is most important and not making sales . We appreciate everyone who understands our commitment to what we do here and love the connection our family has with our babies new adoptive family that comes over time as we find the perfect fit for their lifestyle amoung our various sizes, colors and gender baby beagles and make each match for a life time one at a time !

( Occassionally emails from us dont send , and we think they did :(

our internet isnt always dependable ,we found out recently our dish wasnt stable and wind would move it slightly knocking us offline repeatedly.. other times emails coming in go into spam folders so folks would write from a work email etc. and finally get thru to us , or Christi finds alot of folks emails in the spam folder and moves them back for us... if you have written and not received a response please gently remind us of your interest in adopting from us and if you have a favorite or two in mind mention them in your new reminder and forward your previous with it so we dont have to search for it to approve your home ... Understanding and persistence gets our attention when its genuine love of our puppies and desire to have one :) we get caught up in our care for our puppies and parents and don't mean to miss anyone's email but as you can imagine a world wide web audience brings in alot of them a day..from our adoptive families checking in with us and sending updates and pics , besides all the new families hoping we notice them and begin a correspondence that ends in adoption of one or two of our cuties , we aren't anxious to let any of them go .. we love um all so emails with pictures of new family members and home and yard are appreciated along with details about the great home you have for one of our pups .. lets get started tell us about your home and family for a sunshine beagle baby ! ) persuade us you'd make a wonderful family /home for one of our babies to join !

Like Children, siblings can grow up to be all different sizes, depending on multiple influences, such as taking after different genetics, and often diet while growing up.	A litter of our beagle puppies can come in all different colors, regardless of the mother's color! Her color would simply mean that she is genetically able to also have a puppy like her color in her litter, however the offspring may take after other ancestors in the background, or daddy's coloring or his ancestors colors !
Whether you are currently ready for the next step, or simply know that you would love to add a Sunshine Acres Beagle Puppy to your life when the time comes, you are welcome to ask us about becoming preapproved for adoption by our family, so that you can be a part of the claiming process when the time is right!




	you could say weve been busy around here tending to these babes ... so if youve written an email and it was missed please forgive us and resend it so it catches our attention when we have a moment to sit down at the computer , we appreciate everyones understanding the new babies take our devotion , training the puppies , feeding and caring for changing papers , crating older pups at night , caring for our adults ... you get the picture please be patient with hearing back but dont give up ! show us you have the patience it takes to adopt a new baby ... and the persistance to be a great new parent to one of our babies !


	The Pre - School Stage! Beagle Puppy Information. Pregnant mommies have a 2 month gestation period. After birthing the following 2 weeks consists of eating lots of nutrient rich, milk-producing yummy food while constantly nursing their newborns whose eyes are closed, after those first 14 or so days their eyes open, & the remainder of that 3rd week they are getting up, interacting with each other and learning more about gentle human contact now that they can see us. Teeth start coming in at 3 weeks as well. Over the next week mommies begin spending less and less time constantly tending to the puppies & cleaning up after them. The babies begin learning to use paper, and keep their bed clean, and start eating Eukanuba &/or Iams Canned Puppy food for a few days, then with dry Small Breed Puppy mixed in, until finally learning to eat just the dry kibble and drink water versus momma's milk. During this time they have begun socializing, and focusing on their human caregivers rather than mother Dog for all their needs, and learn to look to humans for both love and instruction. By the time they leave our home, she is out of the picture, making for a much easier transition to life in a human family. At that stage, they are eager to learn from everything around them, and absorb interaction like a sponge.
